9. Best Practices in Importing Listings

This page proposes several approaches in how to better import your listings into your website.

When importing listings into your website, best practices should be applied. This is due to several factors such as your server capacity, chatGPT, Google rate limit, concurrent users in LeadsImporter platform.

if you are selecting to run chatGPT at the same time to write descriptions and import, it is important to know that choosing a "Import All" might lead to chatGPT timing out and also not making all imports to your website. If you want to do an import all, we recommend first running chatGPT. This should be ok though if it is less than 20/30 listings.

We don't recommend importing more than 100 listings at same time with or without chatGPT. This is due to our server capacity but also to your server capacity in handling so many requests in adding listings.

Our best approach, recommended (Also from other users), is to select the listings you want to import, run chatGPT, and then use import selected to import the listings in case lower than 20/30.
