If you don't have a WordPress created yet, you can purchase our WordPress Geodirectory template here: Purchase Template. It has GeoDirectory Free version already installed and setup to be used with Leads Importer. You only need to add your categories (In case you you will use the Custom Post Type "Places"), connect the API in Leads Importer and start searching and importing listings in no time.
In the WP Admin dashboard go to "GeoDirectory" > "Settings" > "API" and in "General Options", "Enable the REST API" to ON.
GeoDirectory comes with a custom post type "Places" by default. Go to that CPT and to the "Settings" section
Create or make sure all the necessary fields to import the listings data are available such as:
Title (WP native)
Description (WP native)
Category
Address
Images
Email (We recommend using text field if there are emails that are "x.x@y.y.com", if not it can return a error as GeoDirectory will invalidate these emails).
Phone
Website
Attribution
Place_id
Business Hours
Rating
Ratings_total
gurl
Once completed, we are ready to start connecting our WordPress connection with the Leads Importer tool.
